This is a Sample and Hold and a Noise maker.

The purpose of this module is mainly to produce (truly) random pitch variation if connected to the CV inputs of VCOs. But it can have a lot af other purposes. It can be use like a random (or not if you plug predictable varying signals at its input) CV source.

For the noise part :
You have 4 different outputs. White noise, pink noise, blue noise and random. While the first three signals are self explanatory, the random signal is slightly different. It is a totaly random signal but with a frequency of around 5 Hz unlike the others that are of the same amplitude at every frequency (hence noise).

For the sample and hold part :
You can vary the sample rate from .5 Hz to 200 Hz.
The slew rate knob determine the amount of portamento between the “steps” of the sample and hold. The slope can be linear or logarithmic.
The input signal can be attenueted by the level knob. The white noise is normalled to input if no jack is inserted.
You can plug your own clock signal into the clock input. The led blink at the rate of the clock.
